Mission Statement
To reach out and support those who are divorced, widowed or never have been
married. To help others experience Jesus through a personal relationship
by providing a safe, secure and nurturing environment.
Our Group
We have a very diverse group. There is a wide age range from 36 to 70 something. Our educational and professional experiences are just as varied. We don’t let our ages, education, or professions interfere with our relationships to each other as one big family. The focus is on encouraging and supporting each other through prayers and personal contact. Our common bond is that we are all single, and we all love our Lord, and we want to continually grow in our walk with Him.
Opportunity for Learning
Adult Bible Study (Sunday School) every Sunday - 9:30 a.m.
Sunday Worship Service – 10:45 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday night prayer/ Bible Study - 6:30
Opportunities for Ministry
We have various opportunities to be involved in internal and external ministries. Internally, we have an active prayer chain, weekly email updated and announcements, and a monthly calendar. External ministry opportunities include contacting singles who are absent and prospects, helping with the Church Without Walls, participate in the Second Baptist Homebound ministry, praying on the first Sunday of every month in the Prayer Room, singing in the choir, managing the church library, participating in 2BC special events, and serving on various ministry teams at Second Baptist.
