Help a Local Family

December 13th, 2006

There is a family at Club Estates Elementary that we have an opportunity to help with a single mom and two children. If your class/department would like to start a ministry to them, please contact Barbara Hessong, Mandi Peebles or David Eaton. For Christmas, this needs to happen quickly. So as you contact your members this week, please determine if this is a ministry your class might want to help with. There may be another family as well, so let us know of your interest.

CHRISTMAS CAROLING

December 13th, 2006

On the evening of December 17, we will have a church wide caroling party in our neighborhood.  We want people to volunteer to carol in an assigned area neighboring our church.  Teams will be headed by choir members and those willing to be leaders.  Senior adults, youth, children, and families are encouraged to participate.  Ability to carol is secondary to spreading true Christmas cheer to our neighbors.  Afterward, we will return to the church for light refreshments and debriefing.  For information, contact David Eaton at revmusic15@hotmail.com.

December 5th, 2006

The Food Pantry is well-stocked thanks to the RA’s drive and your generosity. But there is one item we still need - jelly. You can drop off your jelly donations in the church office, where the Food Pantry is now located. Thanks.
