BOUNTIFUL HARVEST FEAST
October 31st, 2006Sunday, November 19 following the Morning Worship Service. We ask that each family bring one of the following items, according to the first letter of your last name: A-H Salads, I-Q Vegetables, R-Z Desserts. Individual families will be contacted to provide turkeys and hams. If you are able to provide turkeys or hams please contact Yvonne Hawthorne. Drinks and bread will be provided by the church. There will not be an Evening Worship Service.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
October 31st, 2006It’s time to start putting your Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes together. Collection week is November 13-20. Make a difference in the life of a child, fill a shoebox with love and gifts. Pick up a brochure or call the church office for more information. Volunteers are needed to work during Collection Center times. We need volunteers who can lift, others to help with less strenuous duties, and others to provide snacks. To volunteer call the church office or email Barbara at barbara@2bc.org.

YOUTH FALL RETREAT
October 19th, 2006October 27-29 at Olivia, Texas. The youth will leave the church at 1:30 Friday, October 27 and return on Sunday morning, October 29 in time for Sunday School. The cost for the event is ten dollars and a medical release form for the 2006/2007 School year will have to be filled out and returned to Justin prior to leaving. BUDGET DISCUSSION
October 19th, 2006This Sunday evening, October 22 will be the time when you can come and discuss and ask questions about the proposed 2007 budget during the evening worship service.
TREATING OUR NEIGHBORS
October 19th, 2006Join us October 31 treating our neighbors where we live. Please contact the church office if you would like to host or participate in a safe treating site in your neighborhood. Yard signs will be provided on a first come first served basis.
